Makers will be using Baker Forge & Tool Damascus stock to create a full-tang integral chef's knife. You do not need to know how to forge to make this knife, but you do need to have experience grinding. This is a great class for all makers especially those who do not have a home forge. 

Day 1:  Design and layout
Day 2:  Rough Grinding
Day 3:  Heat Treating and Finish Grinding
Day 4:  Handle, Finish, and Sharpening
Techniques:  Design, Grinding, Heat-treating, Handle, Sharpening
